Family Reunion Applications Are Experiencing Significant Delays – & The Average Waiting Time Is Now Around 9 Months.

You Can Contact The Home Office Via Email – & Ask For An Update On Your Application:

When Emailing The Home Office Make Sure You Quote Your Families ‘GWF’ Number In The Subject Line – You Can Find This Number On Their Application Forms.

You Can Also Include Your Own Home Office Reference Number – Which Can Be Found On Your ‘Determination Of Asylum Claim’ Letter On Any Of Your Home Office Records.

If You Have Any Concerns For Your Family Members – If They Are In Danger Or Their Health Is At Risk – We Advise That You Highlight This In Your Email To The Home Office – & You Can Ask Them To Expedite Their Decision Based On These Concerns.

If You Have Any Further Evidence To Prove Your Concerns – Then You Can Attach That To Your Email & Ask The Home Office To Consider It.

The Home Office Only Expedite Cases Sparingly – But It May Still Be Worth Outlining In As Much Detail As Possible – Why You Wish For A Decision To Be Made On Your Family’s Applications As Soon As Possible.

You Can Also Reach Out To Your Local MP – & Ask Them To Advocate To The Home Office On Your Behalf.
