Dynamics FAQ

When creating a new case, make sure that you are in the ‘cases’ section of the menu bar on the left-hand side. Once in this section, please select plus new at the top of the screen to create your case.

Once you have created your case and you are ready to mark it for review, you can find this button at the top of the screen, demonstrated in the picture below.

Ready for review will not appear on cases that have already been created, as the system notes that these have already been previously marked as ready for review. Once you update a pre-existing case, it will mark ready for review itself, you can proceed to save & close.

To be able to add signposting, once opening to add a signpost, you will be prompted to save the pop-up screen first, shown in the picture below. Select ‘save’ and you will then be presented with the list of signposting to add to your case, remember to mark as complete once you have done so.

If you have selected the wrong signpost, reselect it and ‘remove’ it. Please see below for support with navigating this.

To send an SMS or Email, you will need to gather the caller’s mobile number (to be able to text them the signposting) and/or their email address to send this to them. Please ensure these details are added to the case before adding your signposting. Once you have selected all signposts, please ensure to click submit in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

N.B. If one or both Notification channels are greyed out, this means you have not logged the caller’s mobile number or email address on the contact card. The final step is to Mark the signpost as complete, please see below. If you do not mark as complete the caller will not receive a text or an email.
